Laboratory Services
Lab work should not require a hospital campus and half a day off work. Our in-office laboratory handles the draws and screenings behind most routine care, with CLIA waived testing on site and send-out partnerships for everything else.
What we offer
Laboratory services support every other service line in the clinic and stand on their own when you just need lab work done:
- Blood draws for routine panels and provider-ordered tests
- CLIA waived in-office testing with fast turnaround
- Urine drug screening with chain of custody documentation
- Urinalysis supporting DOT and pre-employment physicals
- Send-out testing through partner laboratories for specialized panels
How it works
Walk in or schedule a time, bring any lab orders from your provider plus your insurance information, and our team takes it from there. Results go to the ordering provider, and when the order comes from our own clinic, we review results with you in plain English, what is normal, what is worth watching, and what to do next.
Fasting requirements depend on the test; if you are unsure whether to fast, call us at 803.883.4033 before your visit and we will check the order.
Common questions
- Do I need an appointment for lab work?
- Walk-ins are welcome, though scheduled visits move fastest. Bring your lab order and insurance information.
- Do I need to fast before my blood draw?
- It depends on the test ordered. Lipid panels and some glucose tests often require fasting. Call us at 803.883.4033 with your order and we will confirm before you come in.
- What does CLIA waived mean?
- CLIA waived tests are laboratory tests approved by federal standards as simple and accurate enough to perform on site, which means faster results for screenings done in our office.
