Nursing since 1986

A career that started at the bedside

Lisa began her nursing journey in 1986 after completing her Diploma in Nursing from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, New Jersey. She later advanced her education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kean University in 2014 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2019.

Her career began where nursing judgment is forged: more than 20 years in critical care and emergency nursing, developing strong clinical judgment and a deep commitment to patient advocacy. Her expertise expanded into leadership over the following decade:

  • Assistant Nurse Manager, Emergency Department
  • Nurse Manager, Telemetry/Step-Down and Emergency Departments
  • Director of Nursing, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Administrative Nursing Supervisor across multiple New Jersey facilities
  • Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), coordinating critical care transport

These roles strengthened her ability to lead teams, manage complex clinical operations, and support high-quality patient care across diverse settings.

Advanced practice and wound care expertise

Driven by compassion and a desire to make a deeper impact, Lisa pursued her Family Nurse Practitioner certification and transitioned into specialized wound care and limb salvage. She holds national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is a Certified Wound Care Associate through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). She is nationally certified and highly skilled in:

  • Chronic and complex wound management
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
  • Diabetic foot and nail care
  • Limb preservation strategies
  • Patient education and preventive care

Lisa is especially passionate about diabetic nail and foot care, believing that the feet are the foundation of a person’s well-being. She emphasizes preventive care, early intervention, and patient empowerment to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Philosophy of care

Lisa’s practice is grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and a holistic understanding of each patient’s needs. Her decades of bedside experience, combined with advanced clinical training, allow her to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care with a personal touch.

That philosophy is the reason this clinic exists: a place where the visit is not rushed, the plan is explained in plain English, and the provider who examined you is the one who follows your healing all the way through.
